Woodland Anemones Thank You - Fantasy Stampers #62 Guest Design Team

It's time for the midway motivation for the Fantasy Stampers #62: Flower Power challenge,
and I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for them this month!

Here is my Woodland Anemone card:

For the background of the card base, I inked the courier alphabet folder
and then de-bossed it, just for a little change.  I didn't want to have the light
spring moss green overpower, which I was concerned would happen if I embossed
with this inking technique.
I like the set-in texture it gives--something a little different,
sort of reminiscent of letterpress, but less crisp.

I colored the anemones with a combination of Copics and watercolor pencils.

I took some risks with the details of this card.
In the case of the chicken wire, it was rather literal.
Hence I finished the inside heavily to protect the
future recipient from anything unfortunate! :O

I used some handmade paper that I made myself--
something I used to do fairly regularly back when I ran
my Etsy store, and had so many wonderful paper scraps of high-quality
cardstock that I just hated to waste.
Usually those ended up either as handmade paper (using a dip mold)
or they went out to my compost pile to break down, feed vegetable plants and,
in time, feed us!  Paper to produce, you say?
Yes, please! :)

Here are a few more challenges:
